EST — Eastern Standard Time (EST, UTC-5) runs part of the year; the rest of the year the same clocks are on Eastern Daylight Time (EDT, UTC-4) instead. People casually say "EST" for both — SyncHours' scrubber below already resolves whichever one is actually in effect for the date you pick.
JST — Japan Standard Time (JST) is fixed at UTC+9 year-round — it does not observe Daylight Saving Time.
